Crewting Setup guide for Slack


Tip: The quickest and easiest way to integrate the Coffee Break app is to use the onboarding guide. The onboarding guide appears directly after the download. Based on our experience, the guide allows you to set up the app in just a few steps. The selected settings can be edited at any time and additional configurations can be added.


  1. Install the Coffee-Break ☕️ - Crewting app


Click Add to Slack and choose your Slack workspace.


  1. Start a new configuration


To set up your first Coffee-Break, you will need to start a new configuration. Don't worry, it only takes a minute.


  1. Choose a video solution


You can choose between Crewting Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet. If you want to add ice breaker questions or a quiz to the Coffee Breaks, you need to set up Crewting Meet.


If you want to use Microsoft Teams Meetings or Google Meet as a video option. You first need to connect the specific video solution in the admin settings under Integrations.


  1. Configure your individual matching


There are several matching options to choose from. Simply choose the settings that work best for your team.


If you want to add Crewting to a private channel, you must first add the Coffee-Break app to that channel. Please open the specific channel in Slack and add the Coffee-Break Crewting app via integrations.


  1. Configure the advanced settings


Next, to the configuration, you can set up a default time zone, language, and other individual settings. In this article, you can find more information about the advanced settings.
