Crewting Setup guide for Microsoft Teams

1. Create a Team

The matching is always based on one team within Microsoft Teams. All people you want to connect through Coffee-Breaks need to be in one team. Theoretically you can add the Crewting app to an existing team, but we recommend creating a new one.

2. Add the Coffee-Break ☕️ - Crewting app to this team

Search for the Coffee-Break ☕️ - Crewting App via the (+) in the top navigation bar and install it in the team in which you want to match the people:

You will then find Crewting App in the top navigation bar, as shown in the first screenshot.

3. Set up the Crewting app

To get started, Crewting requires the profile permissions of your Microsoft account. Grant Crewting the authorisations via Continue:

4. Start a new configuration via the admin settings of the Crewting app 🙌

To set up the Coffee-Breaks, a new configuration must be started via the admin settings. Don't worry, it only takes a few minutes.

5. Choose your video solution 🎥

You can choose between Crewting Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet. If you want to add ice breaker questions or a quiz to the Coffee Breaks, you need to set up Crewting Meet.

6. Configure your individual matching ⚙️

There are several matching options to choose from. Simply choose the settings that work best for your team.

7. Configure the advanced settings ⚙️

Next, to the configuration, you can set up a default time zone, language, and other individual settings. In this article, you can find more information about the advanced settings.
