How to set Microsoft Teams Permissions in the Teams Admin Center
Before you can start using Coffee Breaks within your organization, you need to configure app availability in the Microsoft Teams Admin Center so that every user can access the app.
How to make Crewting Coffee-Break available to the entire organization
- Open the Microsoft Teams Admin Center
- Click on Teams apps and open Manage apps
- Search for Crewting
- Use the checkbox left of Crewting and Edit availability of the app
- Select Available to Everyone
How to make Crewting available to specific users or groups
- Open the Microsoft Teams Admin Center
- Click on Teams apps and open Manage apps
- Search for Crewting
- Click on Crewting to open the settings of the app
- Click the tab Users and groups
- Select Specific users and groups and choose the users or groups you want to give access
- Save your changes
How to create a setup policy for the Crewting app
An "app setup policy" is recommended to prevent users from needing to manually add the application. If no such policy is implemented, users could receive this error when trying to interact with the app's buttons:
- Open the Microsoft Teams Admin Center
- Click on Teams apps and open Setup policies
- Click Add to create a new policy
- Name the policy, for example Crewting App Setup Policy
- Click on Add apps
- Search for Crewting and click on Add
- Save the Policy
- Open the Group Policy Assignment tab
- Click Add, then assign the policy to the Group(s) where Crewting is installed
- Click on Apply
